About
Born in Nowra, I went to eight different schools in twelve years. I grew up on a dairy farm till I was seven. Dad was a lumberjack and a dairy farmer, until he decided when I was six years old to become a pastor like his father before him. My great grandparents were one of the first Adventists in Australia. After Dad became a Pastor, we moved to QLD and then to NZ.
I was a builder prior to being a Pastor. I went to college when I was 22, kept building to pay for college. I finally became a pastor in 1990, that means I’ve being doing this for almost 27 years now. The first four years of my ministry, I was a youth pastor, then the remainder pastoring churches.
I went through a personal crisis when my marriage broke down, we ended up going our different path and I got divorced. Divorce is not a nice thing, and the pain and soul searching haunted me for quite awhile. However, God had another plan for me, and I met Lizca. I wasn’t the best of boyfriends, as I still was hurting. Lizca however believed in me, and on Christmas day 2014 we married after four years of courtship.
We have a large blended family consisting of four children two boys and two girls. I love them all very dearly.
I have a passion to reach all of Australia using television and social media. Setting up churches in such a way that ordinary people can connect with church members that are like minded and show how Christ works on an every day basis. Additionally I would love to see my local church grow to a size where it can spread across Sydney with many new church plants.
